We are based out of Viji Cottage, which is over in Panangal Mukku. The address is a bit long, Door No. 20-27/20-85D, but once you find Thengapattanam, it is not too hard to get here. Being in Kanyakumari, specifically the Vilavancode area, means we are pretty far south. It is a different pace of life compared to the big cities like Chennai. Chael Softech Llp is our small operation. We work out of this cottage because it is quiet and lets us focus on the code. There aren’t any elevators or glass lobbies here. It is just a house that we have turned into a workspace over time. We started this because we wanted to stay local and still do something with technology. Sometimes the sea breeze makes things feel a bit better when the work gets stressful. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just sit down, open the laptops, and get on with the day’s plan. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the neighbors and the local shops where we get our tea.
