We’ve been here at Manavilai for a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Nakshatra Parota Stall on Theroor Road. It gets busy around here, especially in the evenings when people stop for food. We deal with various items and keep the shop open for most of the day. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes the road gets dusty, but that’s just how it is in Vazhukkamparai. We handle the inventory ourselves. If you are coming from the main junction, just look for the parota place and you will see us right there at 6-192. We don’t have fancy signs or anything. Just a regular trading spot where we move goods in and out. Most of our neighbors are locals who have lived here for generations. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my morning. Then in the afternoon, it’s about sorting through what came in. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps the bills paid and serves the folks around here. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. The traffic is definitely heavier now. We just stay focused on the daily work, loading and unloading. It is what it is. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. We are usually around from morning until late in the evening every day.
