Vijay Internet Cafe

This is Vijay Internet Cafe in Kanpur. We have been running this place for a good few years now. It started out with just a couple of computers and now we have several rows set up along the walls. It gets pretty loud in here when the students come in after school let out. They mostly want to check their exam results or apply for various government forms. We also do a lot of printing and scanning for people in the neighborhood. The chairs are not the most comfortable in the world, but they work for what we need. We try to keep the fans going so it does not get too hot, especially in the summer months when Kanpur gets really warm. There is always someone coming in asking for help with a digital form or a simple printout. We do not have a big staff, usually just me or my brother sitting behind the main counter. Kanpur is a big city but our local area knows exactly where to find us. Sometimes the internet connection is slow and everyone complains, but that is just how it goes sometimes with the wires. We have some older customers who need help even with simple typing or opening an email. We do not charge much, just the regular rates for the time spent on the machines. It is a basic shop and stays busy most nights because that is when people need us.
