Kamakhya Creations

We are based at 7/136 in Swaroop Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are very close to the Flame Restaurant, which is a popular spot around here. Kamakhya Creations is a small place where we do a lot of sewing and design work. The room is usually full of different colors of fabric and rolls of thread. We have a couple of large tables where we lay out the patterns and cut the cloth. It’s not a very big space. Things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of work going on at once. The lighting is bright because we need to see the small details and stitches. Swaroop Nagar is a lively neighborhood. There is always some noise from the street or the restaurant next door. We have been here for a few years now. The walls are covered with some old sketches and a calendar that we use to keep track of our deadlines. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a big sign. We just rely on the work we do with our hands. It’s a very personal business for us. We spend most of our time here from morning until late evening. Sometimes we share some snacks from the restaurant while we work. It’s a comfortable place for us, even if it’s a bit messy with all the scraps of fabric on the floor.
