Stepco Chappals

Stepco Chappals is based at 90/144 in the Iftikharabad area. It’s a lively part of town where everyone seems to be making something or selling something. Our building is pretty standard for this neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of work going on all day. We deal with footwear, mostly the simple kind that people use every day. We don’t use any high-tech systems; we just use what we’ve always used. It’s a bit messy at times with scraps and tools lying around, but we get the job done. Iftikharabad has a lot of history with this kind of trade, so we feel right at home here. We aren't some polished brand you’d see on a billboard. We are just a local business with a small group of staff who have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and we help each other out when needed. Sometimes the rain makes the street muddy, but life goes on. We don't write big reports or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be finished and we do it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. If you’re ever walking through the lanes of Iftikharabad, you might hear us working away. We just want to keep things running smoothly and stay in business for another year. It’s a practical life and we are okay with that.
