Sandeep Engineering

Sandeep Engineering is based at 83-A in the Co-Operative Industrial Estate in Dada Nagar. This area is full of workshops and small factories, and we fit right in. We’ve been here for years, working with metal and various machines. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and a bit of oil, which is how an engineering place should look. We do a lot of fabrication and general repair work for other businesses. It's not some sterile, clean-room environment; it's a place where things get built and fixed with tools. Our neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so there's always the sound of hammers or lathes running throughout the day. We have a small crew of guys who really know their way around a machine and aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to walk back to where the work is happening. We like the grit of the industrial estate. It's a place where things actually get made. Sometimes we have to work late on a Friday to get a job done for a customer who's in a rush. We don't mind it much because it's part of the trade. It’s a straightforward business with no fluff. We take the blueprints or the broken pieces and we get to work. That’s just the life here in Dada Nagar.
