Our shop is sitting right at Plot No. 10 in Naya Ganj. If you know where Ghanta Ghar is, we are basically just around the corner from there. It’s a crowded area but it’s got a lot of life to it. The business has been in the family, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done. The building itself is older, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons. We spend most of our time at the front counter talking to people who walk in from the street. Naya Ganj is always moving, so there is never a dull moment. We have piles of stock in the back that we try to keep organized, though the piles seem to grow faster than we can sort them sometimes. It gets hot in the summer months but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. We aren't big on fancy displays or anything like that. People come here because they know where we are and they know we have what they are looking for. Sometimes the deliveries get delayed because of the narrow streets near the clock tower, but we manage to get things through. It's a local spot through and through. We usually open up early before the heat gets too bad and stay until the sun starts to go down. It’s just how things work here in this part of town and we wouldn't have it any other way.
