Oasis Exim

New Chungi is where we are set up, and honestly, it’s a pretty straightforward place to find if you know the landmarks. Oasis Exim is the name on our door, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit now. The area around New Chungi has changed quite a bit over the years, with more shops and more people moving in, but our routine stays mostly the same. We show up, unlock the gates, and start looking at what the day has brought us. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We’ve got concrete floors and some old fans that hum while we work. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, which can slow things down, but that’s part of being in this neighborhood. Oasis Exim isn't trying to be anything it’s not. We just handle the import and export side of things without making a big fuss about it. The street can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the entrance. Lunch is usually something we bring from home or grab from the guy who sells snacks down the road. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the day. By the time the sun starts going down, we’re usually just finishing up the last bits of work before locking up. We are just local people doing our jobs.
