Handloom Bhandar

Handloom Bhandar has been sitting at No 650 in Faithfulganj Cantt for as long as most people can remember. It is the kind of shop where you can still smell the raw cotton and the wood of the old shelves that hold up all the rolls of fabric. We don't have any bright neon signs or glass displays; it is just a solid, old-fashioned store filled with hand-woven sheets, towels, and various types of cloth. Most of our days are spent unrolling fabric for customers and measuring it out with the same wooden yardstick we’ve used for years. We aren't interested in becoming a big chain or moving into a fancy mall. There is something nice about being in the Cantt area where things feel a bit more settled and traditional. People stop by not just to buy something, but often just to say hello and catch up on the local news while we fold their purchases. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy logo. Our reputation comes from the fact that the things we sell actually last a long time. It’s honest, simple work and we take a lot of pride in knowing where our goods come from. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty, and the floors creak when you walk on them, but that is just the character of the place. We plan on keeping things exactly as they are for a long time to come.
