Lucknowi Andaaz

Lucknowi Andaaz is our little operation over in Pandu Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city center. We work mostly with traditional styles, and you’ll see fabrics draped over almost every surface in our workspace. It isn’t a high-end boutique with spotlights. It’s more like a workshop where there’s always thread on the floor and someone humming a tune while they work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the needles and the cloth. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure the stitches are tight. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big festival coming up and everyone wants their clothes at once. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make things that people like to wear. Pandu Nagar is a nice place to be based because the neighbors are friendly and we can get a good samosa just down the street. Our door is usually open to let in some air. We don't have a big sign, just a small one so people don't miss us. It’s a bit cluttered inside, but we know where everything is. We take things one day at a time and try to keep things moving. It’s just us doing what we know how to do without making a fuss.
