We are based in Tilak Nagar in Kanpur at 7/68. Kanpur is a city that knows its shoes, and we are right in the middle of it. The office is a busy place. There is always someone coming in or going out with samples or documents. It’s not a shiny new showroom; it’s more of a working office where the real planning happens. We’ve been at this Tilak Nagar address for quite a while now. The building is solid and has seen a lot of years. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes with boxes and papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don't have a lot of fancy stuff on the walls. We just focus on the shoes. Kanpur can get very dusty and the traffic is something else, but once you’re inside, we just get on with it. We have a staff that has been with us through thick and thin. We talk about the designs and the shipments over tea. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a local business making sure people have good footwear. The neighbors are mostly other businesses, so there is always a lot of activity around 7/68. We like the energy of the city. It keeps us moving every single day. Even when it is raining hard, the work here doesn't really stop for anything.
