Vasu Footwear Industry

We operate Vasu Footwear Industry from No. 3/105 Swarn Jayanti Vihar in Koyala Nagar. It’s a bit out of the main city center, which gives us a bit more space to work. We make all sorts of footwear right here in this unit. It’s a practical setup with lots of heavy machines and the smell of rubber and glue. It’s not a place for people who like things quiet. We have a small team of workers who know their jobs well. We’ve been at this for a long time, starting out with just a couple of machines. Now we have a bit more, but it’s still a very hands-on operation. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our shoes go straight into boxes and onto trucks. We focus on making things that last. The floor is usually covered in scraps, and we clean up at the end of every shift. Koyala Nagar is a decent place to work. It’s steady. We don't do a lot of talking; we just get the pairs finished. Sometimes we have a few extra pairs lying around that we sell to locals who drop by. It’s a simple life, and we are happy with how things are going. No big corporate meetings here, just making shoes and making sure the bills are paid. The fan in the ceiling wobbles, but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months.
