Iris Fashion

You can find Iris Fashion at No. 62 B- Harjinder Nagar, right in the middle of the Lal Banglow area. It is a very lively neighborhood and we have been here for a good bit of time now. The shop is not huge, but we managed to pack a lot of stock into it. We have racks of clothes that sometimes get a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in. It is a family-run kind of thing for the most part. My aunt helps out with the inventory and checking the fabrics, while I handle the customers who walk in through the door. We do not have those fancy changing rooms with perfect mirrors and lighting. It is a bit more basic than that. We just want to make sure people find something they actually like wearing. The street outside is always noisy with people shopping, which gives the place a lot of energy. Sometimes we are still folding clothes or organizing the shelves way after we should have closed up for the night. It is not a high-end boutique where you feel like you cannot touch the items. We want people to feel okay just browsing around the racks. We pick out the styles ourselves and hope for the best. There is usually a pile of cardboard boxes in the back that we haven't gotten around to clearing yet. That is just life when you are running a shop alone.
