Divyansh Industries

You can find us over in Hind Vihar, specifically at Plot No. 168/26 in the Barra 6 area. We’re located right near the bus stand, so there’s always a constant flow of people and the sound of horns honking. Divyansh Industries is a small setup, nothing like those giant factories you see on the news. We’ve got a small crew and we all know each other’s families. The workspace is a bit cramped because we’ve squeezed in as much equipment as we can. It’s a lot of manual work, and we’re usually sweating by mid-morning because the fans don't do much when the Kanpur heat really kicks in. We don't have any polished sales pitches. Usually, our customers are people who just walk in off the street or heard about us from a neighbor. We do a lot of our business over a quick cup of chai from the stall around the corner. It’s a noisy, frantic part of town, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Some days we struggle with getting the materials delivered through the narrow streets, but we always find a way. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us connected to the neighborhood. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work until it’s time to go home.
