About Allen Cooper India – Fashion & Trends in Kanpur
Down in Kakadeo, specifically in the L-Block area, things can get pretty crowded and loud during the day. We have been working out of this space at 219/3-4 for quite a long time. Most people in Kanpur know this neighborhood for its coaching centers and student shops, but we are tucked away doing our own thing. Our space is mostly full of heavy stock—rows and rows of shoes and safety gear that need to be moved and shipped out. It smells like a mix of leather and rubber in here most of the time, which you eventually get used to after working a few shifts. We aren't a fancy high-rise office with glass walls; it is more like a busy hub where we are constantly checking sizes and making sure the physical inventory matches what is in our books. The stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the space works for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various distributors or checking on shipments that are stuck in transit somewhere. It is a lot of manual work and staying organized is probably our biggest daily challenge. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing here. We just show up, do the hard work, and go home to our families. On hot days, the ceiling fans just move the warm air around, but we keep on moving anyway.
