Allanasons

Allanasons is tucked into Sanjay Nagar, over in the Wajidpur part of Jajmau. Our address is 104/90-A, and it’s a bit of a maze to get through the narrow streets to reach us. It’s a very local neighborhood, so you see kids playing and people going about their lives right next to where we work. We handle leather and meat products, which is what this whole area is known for. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where all our operations happen. We have a lot of people coming in for the daily shifts, and it gets quite lively. The space inside is divided up for different stages of the work. It’s often hot, and the fans are always spinning. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture or decor. The focus is always on the day's output. Sometimes the narrow roads make it hard for the bigger vehicles, so there’s often a bit of shouting and maneuvering to get things loaded. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. Most of us grew up around here or have lived in Jajmau for years. We eat lunch in shifts, usually sitting on the benches near the main entrance. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't try to be anything we aren't, we just do the work.
