Our place is located at 1131, Plot 1 in Barasirohi, which is over in the Kalyanpur part of Kanpur. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. It’s a typical Kanpur neighborhood, meaning it’s always a bit of a squeeze on the roads and there’s plenty of noise. We handle healthcare products, so our space is mostly filled with boxes of supplies and different items waiting to go out. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept on the shelves. The building itself is pretty plain. We spend most of our mornings checking what came in and what needs to be delivered to the local clinics or families. It’s a lot of small details to keep track of, but we’ve got a system that works for us even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. People from the area stop in occasionally to ask about things or just to say hello. We like being in Kalyanpur because it feels like a real community where people actually know each other. The office desk is usually covered in invoices and scraps of paper with notes on them. We don't have any polished brochures or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the boxes get to the right address. It’s a straightforward business and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
