Ab Internet Cafe

We have been running this little internet spot at 88/384 Rupam Cinema for a long time. Most people find us because we are right near the theater. When a big movie is playing, the whole street gets packed with bikes. It gets noisy inside, but we don't mind. We have about ten computers lined up against the walls. The chairs are those plastic ones that are a bit wobbly, but they do the job. I spend my morning wiping down screens and checking keyboards for crumbs. People come in for all sorts of things. Students are always here printing out project reports or hall tickets. Sometimes the printer runs out of ink right when someone is in a hurry, which is always a bit of a mess. I try to keep a spare cartridge under the desk. The internet can be a bit slow on rainy days, and I have to reset the router. It’s a small space, so it stays warm in winter but we keep the big fans going in the summer. I sell some cold sodas and packets of biscuits too. It’s just a regular neighborhood place where you can get your work done. The paint on the walls is peeling a bit near the ceiling. I keep meaning to fix it but never get around to it. It's just me and my brother working here most days. We close up once the last movie show starts. It’s not fancy, just a room with some cables and computers for the locals.
