Punj Lloyd Limited

Our office is located at 268, New P.A.C. Line in Kanpur. If you’ve ever been to this part of Uttar Pradesh, you know it’s a busy industrial city with a lot of dust and movement. Punj Lloyd Limited has been at this spot for a bit now. It’s not a shiny new office park. It’s more of a practical space where we can actually get things done without too much distraction. The New P.A.C. Line is a recognizable area, though visitors sometimes take a wrong turn near the main road. Inside, it’s mostly desks, some old computers, and a lot of tea being drunk throughout the afternoon. We don’t really dress up in suits unless someone important is coming by, which isn’t very often. Usually, it’s just us in our regular clothes trying to sort out the logistics and the accounts. The summers in Kanpur are pretty brutal, so we’re thankful for the old air conditioner even if it makes a lot of noise. We like it here because it feels honest. There’s no pretending to be something we’re not. We just do the work, talk to the vendors, and make sure the logs are updated. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know how everyone likes their coffee or how to fix the printer when it jams again. It's a real place with real people doing their best.
