Teesta Seeds Private Limited

Our business is based in Raniya at House No. 222 in the Bhittar Raniya area of Kanpur Dehat. Since we deal with seeds, our work is very much tied to the farming cycles of the region. The house we work out of isn't anything fancy; it serves as a storage hub where we keep the seed stocks until they are needed by the farmers. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the bags and making sure everything is labeled correctly for the upcoming season. Being out in Kanpur Dehat means we are right in the middle of the farming community, which makes things easier for everyone. The roads can be a bit of a struggle during the rainy season, but we’ve lived here long enough to know how to get around. We have a small team of local people who help with the packing and the heavy lifting. There’s a lot of talk about the weather and the crop prices whenever someone stops by to pick up their seeds. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; we just rely on the quality of the seeds we provide. It’s a quiet life, mostly focused on the practical needs of the farmers around us. We just do our bit to make sure the planting goes well every year. It feels good to know that what we do helps someone grow their livelihood in the local fields.
