Down here in Cheruparamba, things move at their own pace. We run Pathikkalblue Granites from the Kandian House. It’s not a big corporate building, just a regular place where we handle the daily business. Kolavellur is a quiet area mostly, but there’s always someone looking for granite for a project. We deal with the stone side of things, making sure we have what people are asking for. It gets dusty and loud sometimes, but that’s the nature of this kind of work. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around, just in doing what we know. People come by the house when they need to talk about an order. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the roads and the people pretty well. Managing a granite business involves a lot of phone calls and checking on supplies. It’s not always easy, but it keeps us busy. The "blue" in the name is just part of it, really. We focus on getting the stone out to the sites. Sometimes the logistics get a bit messy, but we figure it out as we go. There are no fancy brochures or sales pitches here. Just some people working with stone in a small town.
