Nithyananda Organicfarm Private Limited

We are over in Peravoor, in a place called Manathana. Our spot is Pranavam in Thiruvonapuram. Nithyananda Organicfarm is our small business. We deal with organic farming because that’s what we know how to do. It’s not a fancy job. We spend most of our time out in the fields in Kannur. We aren't a big industrial farm. We do things by hand mostly. It’s a lot of hard work and the sun can be quite hot. We don't have an office with air conditioning. We just have a small space to keep our records. We are a private limited company, but it’s mostly just us working the land. We don't have a marketing strategy. We just grow what we can and sell it to people who want it. Some years are better than others. That’s just the way it is with farming. We don't use any of those chemicals you hear about. We just stick to the old ways. It’s more honest that way. We don't have a grand mission. We just want to keep the farm going and provide for our families. If you ever visit Manathana, you can see what we’re doing. It’s a quiet life and we like it. We aren't trying to be famous. We’re just farmers. We wake up early and go to bed tired. That’s our day every day.
