Nahar Food Producers

Nahar Food Producers is located in Matttool Village, which is part of the Kannur district. You can find us right near the Matttool Petrol Station, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone coming from out of town. The area here is pretty quiet, mostly just houses and a few small shops. Being near the petrol station means we see a lot of cars and trucks passing by, but our work happens inside the shed. We handle a lot of different food production tasks, depending on the season and what is needed. The humidity in Kannur can be a bit much sometimes, so we have to be careful with how we store everything. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure the storage area stays dry. It is just a handful of us working here. We don't have a big corporate office or a long list of managers. We just get in, do the work, and go home. The village life suits us well, and we like being part of the community here in Matttool. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or cleaning out a filter. It’s just part of the daily grind. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big batch. It is a practical life for us.
