Artocarpus Foods Pvt Ltd is based over at Plot F in the Kinfra Industrial Park in Elamberam, near Taliparamba. Being in a place like Nadukani Poovam means we are surrounded by a lot of greenery, which is a nice change from the city. The industrial park itself is quite organized, but it still feels like being out in the countryside of Kerala. We spend our days dealing with food products, mostly stuff related to the local fruits and crops that grow around here. You can usually smell whatever is being processed as soon as you walk through the gates. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at, but it’s clean and does the job for us. Our staff are mostly folks from the nearby villages who know a thing or two about food and farming. We don't have a big corporate headquarters or anything like that; we just work right here where the food is made. The rain can be really heavy in this part of the world, so we spend a lot of time making sure the roof doesn't leak and the supplies stay dry. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the fruit, process it properly, and get it ready for people to eat. It’s a simple process and we try to keep it that way without overcomplicating things with too much paperwork.
