Lase College

Lase College is located right on the Main Road in Payangadi, which is in the Kannur district. Being on the main road makes it very easy for students to catch a bus and get to class on time. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it has enough space for our students to sit and study their materials. We offer various courses for people looking to improve their skills or get a better qualification for work. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed, though things get serious when exam time comes around. Payangadi is a local hub, so there’s always people moving about outside. We have a small staff who handles the teaching and the administration. We don't use any complicated systems; we just keep records in ledgers and folders like we always have. Sometimes the rain in Kannur can be quite heavy, which makes things a bit damp, but we just carry on with our work regardless of the weather. Most of our students are from nearby villages and towns. They come here because it’s convenient and they know we focus on the lessons rather than appearances. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on being consistent and being there every day for the people who need us. It’s a small operation, but it serves the local area well enough for everyone’s needs.
