Britco Bridco

Down here in Kannur, things feel a bit different than the big cities. We’ve set up Britco Bridco here in Kerala to handle the local work. It's a nice area and we like being part of the community here. The weather can get pretty humid so we have the fans going all day long. We mostly deal with mobile phone repairs and showing others how to fix them correctly. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You won’t find any suits or ties in our office. We usually wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a workbench for eight hours. There are usually parts scattered around and a few half-finished projects on the back shelves. We’ve had some people travel from quite far just to spend time learning with us. It makes the day go by faster when there are new faces around. The street outside isn’t too loud, which helps when you’re trying to find a tiny screw that fell on the floor. We try to keep a decent schedule but sometimes we stay late if a job is tricky. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. No one here is trying to be anything special, we just like the technical side of things. Sometimes we take a break and talk about the news or what's for lunch. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
