You can find Kaliyar Food Products over on Nayaks Road in Thayalangadi. We have been operating from this same spot for several years now. It is a relatively quiet street compared to the main market area, which we like. We focus on processing and packing different food items. It is a small operation, mostly just a few of us working together every day. We don't have any big company goals or missions. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. The space we have on Nayaks Road is not very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the floors are swept. Working with food means you have to be tidy, even if the building is old. Thayalangadi is a nice neighborhood and we know most of the people who live around here. We don't spend any money on ads or social media. Most of our business comes from people who have been buying from us for years. It is hard work and sometimes our backs ache from lifting the heavy crates, but it is a steady job. We don't have any middle management or fancy offices.
