Design Engineering

We’ve been operating out of Kizhakkethara House in Morazha for a while now. It’s a quiet part of Kannur, and that suits the kind of work we do here. My family has been in this area for a long time, so setting up Design Engineering right at home just felt like the right move. The office is basically part of the house, which means there’s usually some tea being made or neighbors stopping by. We spend most of our days looking at drawings and figuring out how things fit together. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. We have a couple of desks, some computers that are getting a bit old, and stacks of paper everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out in Kerala during the monsoon, and we just have to wait it out or work by daylight. It's just a few of us here. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy receptionist. When you call, one of us just picks up the phone. We try to get the work done right because everyone in Morazha knows where we live, so we can't really hide if something goes wrong. It’s a simple way of working, but it keeps us busy. We mostly deal with local projects and people we’ve known for years. The P.O. Morazha area is pretty green, and looking out the window while we work helps when things get stressful.
