Shri Ganesh Rice Mills

We are located in Village Tarri, which is part of the Nawapara Rajim area. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. The rice mill is the center of our day. When it’s harvest season, the place gets incredibly busy with farmers bringing in their grain from all over the surrounding fields. The sound of the de-husking machines is something you just get used to after a while. It’s a dusty environment, and the smell of raw rice is everywhere. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the processing units. It is not an easy job, especially when the sun is beating down on the village, but it is what we do. The office is just a small room where we keep the scales and the books. We don’t have any fancy signs or corporate branding. Everyone in Village Tarri knows where the mill is. We work with the seasons, so some months are quiet and others we are working late into the night. It is honest work that depends on the land and the weather. We take pride in just getting the rice processed and ready for the market without making a big deal out of it. It’s just life in the village.
