Steccons Technology Services operates from the village of Bir Bagehra. This is in the Sujanpur Tihra area of Hamirpur. We are a Private Limited company, which sounds like we have a massive skyscraper, but we really just work out of a local building. It is quiet here, and we like it that way. Most of the time, we are just busy with our computers. The internet connection isn't always perfect in this part of Himachal, but we have figured out how to make it work for us. We started this business because we wanted to work in our own town instead of moving to a big city. It was a good decision. We get to see our families every day and still do the tech work we enjoy. We don't really do advertisements or big promotions. Our work usually speaks for itself, or people just talk to each other. We have a small team of dedicated people who know what they are doing. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. If you come to see us, you will probably have to wait for someone to get up from their desk. We try to be honest about what we can do. If a task is too big for us, we say so. But mostly, we find a way to get things done. It is a simple, practical way to live and work in Hamirpur.
