Our spot is over on Saraswati Nagar Road in Dharamsala, right in Oracle Square. If you’ve been around this part of Kangra, you know the views are something else, though we spend most of our time looking at monitors instead of out the window. Revcatalyst Technologies is what we call the business. We do a lot of tech stuff here, mostly building things for the internet or helping other businesses with their digital needs. It’s a decent building, not too old, and we’ve got enough space for everyone to have their own desk without bumping into each other. Dharamsala is a great place to work because even when things get stressful, you can just step outside for five minutes and clear your head with the mountain air. We don't really follow a corporate handbook or anything. We just show up, see what needs doing, and get on with it. There’s usually someone making tea or complaining about a slow internet connection, which seems to be a common theme for anyone working in tech in the hills. We are just a group of locals and a few people who moved here because they liked the area. We aren't looking to become some massive company overnight. We just want to do good work and stay busy. It’s a simple setup, and it works for us. The office is usually a mess of cables and notebooks, but we know where everything is.
