Planet Soda

Planet Soda is located on Than Garh Road, right across from the BSNL Exchange building. It’s a pretty easy place to find because the exchange is a well-known landmark in this part of town. The shop is a basic setup. It is nothing too fancy or modern. We have the usual coolers and a few shelves for the bottles. Most of the people who come in are either workers from the exchange or locals living in the nearby streets. It gets quite busy in the afternoons when the sun is at its hottest and everyone is looking for something to drink. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy. Making sure the drinks are actually cold is the main thing we worry about. Sometimes the electricity cuts out. This makes things difficult, but we have some ice backups to keep things going. It’s a small operation. There are just a few of us handling the customers and the stock. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. We just focus on keeping the bottles filled and the customers served. The road outside can get a bit congested with parked bikes and people standing around talking. It’s a noisy street, but we like the energy of it. We’ve been here for a while and we know how things work in this neighborhood. It’s just a normal job in a normal shop. That is fine with us.
