Beans Cafe

Beans Cafe is located right at Hno 1 in the Main Square of Mcleod Ganj. If you’ve ever been to Dharamshala, you know how busy the square can get with people, monks, and travelers all mixing together. We’ve been here for a bit, sitting right in the middle of all that activity. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a small cafe where we spend our days making coffee and putting out some simple food. The weather up here can be a bit unpredictable, so some days we’re dealing with rain and other days it’s bright sun. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized. There’s always a lot of dust from the road that we have to wipe off the tables. We don’t have a big mission statement or any corporate goals. We just wanted a place where we could work and talk to the people who pass through 176213. Sometimes the water pressure is low or we have trouble getting certain supplies up the hill, but we make it work. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We see people from all over the world, and that’s probably the best part of being in the Main Square. We don’t do any fancy ads. People usually just see our sign while they’re walking by and decide to come in. It’s just us, the coffee machine, and the view of the square outside the window.
