If you try to find us at Ispiice-Volunteer & Travel In India, you have to head into the main bazaar of Palampur and look for Ward No. 6. We are located right in Maszid Gali, which is one of those narrow streets that always seems to be bustling with people buying vegetables or clothes. It can get a bit loud with all the scooters and the shouting from the market, but that’s just life in Palampur. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for a few desks and some chairs for when volunteers come to visit. We spend a lot of our time on the computer or the phone, organizing where people are going to stay and what they are going to do while they are here in India. Sometimes someone will bring in some fresh fruit from the market and we’ll take a break to eat together. We don't really do things in a very formal way here. If someone walks in off the street with a question, we just stop what we’re doing and chat. The Maszid Gali location means we are right in the heart of everything, so we see all the daily drama of the town. It feels like we are part of the furniture in this neighborhood now. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same, filled with maps and travel papers. The tea guy knows our order by heart now, and we usually drink three or four cups a day while we work through our lists.
