Vacon Drives & Control Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 352 Kapaleeshwar Nagar, right along the East Coast Road in Neelangarai. Being near the coast means we sometimes get a bit of a breeze, but the salt air isn't always great for the electrical components we handle. We mostly work with variable frequency drives and control systems, which sounds complicated but mostly involves a lot of wiring and checking circuit boards. Our space is filled with boxes of different sizes, all containing the units we supply to various industries. It’s not a high-rise office; it’s more of a functional ground-floor setup where we can easily move heavy equipment in and out. The ECR road is usually busy with people heading toward the beach, but inside we are focused on testing the drives. We have a few technicians who spend their whole day hunched over panels, making sure the settings are correct before anything gets sent out to a client. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to answer phones with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. It’s a straightforward environment where the focus is on the hardware. We’ve been in Neelangarai for a good while, and most people around here know us as the electrical drive folks. There’s always a bit of clutter from spare wires and shipping labels, but we know where everything is kept when a job needs doing quickly.
