Our office is situated at 1/159-A on Mariamman Koil Street in Santhavellore, which is part of the Sriperumpudur area. It is a location that feels a bit more rural than the city, but it is very close to all the big industrial plants that Sriperumpudur is known for. The street itself has a temple on it, which is a local landmark for us. Our work involves a lot of logistics and moving goods across borders, so there is always a heap of paperwork on the desks. We deal with customs forms, shipping manifests, and a lot of emails back and forth with suppliers. The building is a simple structure that fits in with the other houses and shops on the street. Inside, it is mostly just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of folders. We don't have a showroom or anything to display because everything we handle is in containers or warehouses elsewhere. The day usually starts early with calls to check on cargo status. The trucks often rumble past the street, making the windows rattle a bit. During the rainy season, the road can get a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. It’s a quiet enough place to focus on the details, which is important when you are moving things globally. We have a small porch where we sometimes take a break and watch the goats or cows walk by on the street.
