We're based in unit 13 in the Trical Industrial Estate Kakkalur. It’s a quiet enough area compared to some of the bigger cities, but the estate itself is always humming with activity. Our space is mostly dedicated to packing and sorting things out. We don’t have fancy rugs or a lounge area for guests. It’s just concrete floors and a lot of boxes stacked high. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the paperwork for the shipments. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons. Because of that, we usually have the big fans running all the time. Sometimes the trucks coming in for pickups make a lot of noise, but it’s part of the job. We have a small corner for tea and that’s about as comfortable as it gets. Most of the people working here have been with us for a while. We don’t need to talk much to know what needs doing. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it leaves the gate. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We are just a small export outfit trying to keep things moving smoothly. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big order is due, but we just put our heads down and get it done without too much fuss or complaining at all.
