We’ve been here at Alandur for a while now, right on Railway Station Road. It is a busy spot, being so close to the station and everything. Our place is actually New 381, but some people still remember the old number 281-6 on MKN Road. It gets a bit confusing for delivery folks sometimes, but we make it work. We handle garment accessories mostly. The work keeps us busy all through the day. There are a few of us here making sure things get done right. It isn’t some fancy office with big glass windows, just a regular workplace where we deal with zippers, buttons, and whatever else is needed for clothing. Sometimes the noise from the station is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started out small and stayed in the same neighborhood because it’s where we know people. It is honest work and we try to keep things moving as fast as we can without making mistakes. Sometimes we fall behind when the power goes out, but we catch up eventually. That’s pretty much us.
