Tecnodoors is out at Plot No. L-1 in the Sipcot Industrial Park. We are right between Mambakkam and Pondur A Village in the Sriperumpudur Taluk. It is a big area and there are factories everywhere you look. Our place is where we put together the door systems. It is a large shed with a lot of space for the frames and the panels. The industrial park is always buzzing with activity and there are always buses taking workers back and forth. We have been out here for a while and we have seen the area change a lot. The work is steady and involves a lot of measuring and fitting things together. It is not the kind of place where you find a lot of decorations on the walls. Mostly it is just tools and safety signs and stacks of materials waiting to be used. The commute out to Sriperumpudur can be long depending on the traffic, but once we are here, we just get on with the day. We have a small break area where we eat our lunch, but otherwise, we are on the floor. It is loud because of the nearby factories but you stop noticing it after an hour or two. We just make sure the doors are built right before they get loaded for delivery. It is a practical business in a very industrial part of the world. We don't mind the grime and the noise.
