We are over at No 10, Kalaimagal Nagar, right on the 2nd Cross Street in Ekkaduthangal. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of small workshops and offices. Our place is pretty straightforward. We deal with networking stuff, so there are always yellow and blue cables lying around on the workbenches. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything. It’s more of a functional space where we can get things done without too much fuss. The heat in Ekkaduthangal can be quite something in the summer, so our old air conditioner stays busy. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't really need a lot of rules. We just show up and handle the tickets and the hardware. There is a small canteen nearby where we usually get our lunch, mostly rice and sambar. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of small trucks moving in and out all day. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery vehicle, but that’s just life here. We don't spend much time on fancy meetings. We’d rather just fix a router or set up a server rack. The name Quality Network Pvt Ltd is on the board outside, but we mostly just think of ourselves as the guys who keep the internet running for our clients. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We try to be helpful and just get the job finished so everyone can go home.
