Our office for Prikesh Exim Llp is actually inside the Stepsstone Vatsa Apartments. We are in Block N, Flat F2, right on Vasanthapuram Main Road in Mangadu. It’s a bit unusual having an export business in an apartment complex, but it works for us. Chennai is so busy that having a base here in Mangadu saves us a lot of time on commuting. We mostly deal with the documentation and coordination side of things from this flat. It’s quiet enough to get the work done without the noise of the main road. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we’re doing with all the files and the occasional visitor, but we keep things low-key. We handle a variety of goods, acting as the middle link between suppliers and the buyers abroad. There are two of us who handle the daily operations. It involves a lot of checking and double-checking the manifestos. If the internet goes down, everything stops, which is a bit of a headache. We don’t have a warehouse on-site, so we’re always traveling out to check on the stock elsewhere. It’s not a fancy setup, just a few desks, some chairs, and a printer that jams way too often. We’ve been doing this for a while now and have figured out the quirks of the local shipping routes. It's just a regular small business trying to stay organized and keep the paperwork moving along correctly.
