Our place, Parker Hannifin India Pvt. Ltd., is situated at plots 151 and 157 in the Developed Plots Estate in Perungudi. It’s a fairly large area for us, and we use every bit of it for the motion and control work we do. We handle a lot of hydraulic and pneumatic parts here. The floor is usually buzzing with activity, especially when we have big shipments to get through. Perungudi is a known hub for this kind of work, so we feel right at home among the other industrial buildings. The commute can be a bit of a slog, but once we’re here, it’s all about the hardware. We have rows of filters, hoses, and valves everywhere you look. It’s a very hands-on environment. Our staff mostly stays focused on the assembly and testing parts of the job. We don't have any slick brochures or a fancy front desk. If you walk in, you’re likely to see someone in work clothes moving a crate or checking a gauge. It’s practical, everyday labor. We just focus on putting the systems together correctly. Sometimes a machine acts up or a delivery is late, but we just handle it. It's not a complicated philosophy; we just show up and do the work that’s on the schedule. It’s what we’ve been doing for a long time. There is always something that needs fixing or assembling, which keeps us pretty occupied.
