Paati Masala Private Limited

Our workshop is located at 3/26C on Vandalur Road in Sathakuppam. We are right across the street from Praveena Hospital, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The name of our business is Paati Masala Private Limited. Since we deal with spices and masalas, the air around our place always has a very strong scent. If you aren't used to it, you might start coughing the moment you walk through the door. We spend most of our time sorting through raw spices, cleaning them, and then getting them ready for the grinding machines. The machines are quite loud, so it’s hard to have a conversation when they are running. We are in the Kelambakkam area of Kancheepuram, and it’s a very busy part of the state. The Vandalur Road is always packed with buses and lorries, so there’s a constant layer of dust on our front windows. We don't have a fancy reception area or a showroom. It’s mostly just sacks of chilies, turmeric, and coriander seeds stacked up in the corner. Our team is small, and we mostly just wear old clothes because they get stained by the spice powders anyway. It’s hard work and it’s messy, but it’s what we do every day. We don't really think much about it being a company, it’s just our daily job here in Sathakuppam. Sometimes we share a few snacks from the hospital canteen across the road when we get a break from the grinding.
