Ocean Pearl Technologies

You can find us over at No. 46 on Vallal Pachaiyappan. Ocean Pearl Technologies is not some big, nameless corporation; it is just a group of us who happen to know a lot about technology. The building we are in is a bit older, but it has plenty of character and fits what we need for our daily work. We spend most of our hours looking at code or trying to fix server issues that seem to pop up out of nowhere. It can be a bit stressful when things go down unexpectedly, but we just take it one step at a time until it is sorted. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. Word usually gets around because people just talk to each other. We try to keep our tools and spare parts organized, or at least we attempt to keep them in the right bins. Sometimes the coffee machine feels like the most important piece of equipment in the whole office. We have lived and worked in this area for a long time, so we feel a real connection to the street. People drop by with technical questions, and we do what we can to give them a straight answer. It is not always easy work, but it is what we know how to do best. The desks are usually cluttered with notes and hand-drawn diagrams. We do not worry too much about how the office looks to outsiders as long as the jobs are done.
