Murugan Stickers

Our shop, Murugan Stickers, sits right on the NH2 at Pavendhar Salai in Maraimalai Nagar. Being so close to the highway means we get a lot of vehicles stopping by. We mostly do stickers for bikes, cars, and trucks. You will see us out there in the front, at C/1, applying vinyl to a fuel tank or a windshield. It is a lot of outdoor work, so we are used to the heat and the dust from the road. Inside the shop, it is a bit cramped with all the different sticker designs we keep in stock. We have rows and rows of pre-cut letters and patterns. If someone wants something custom, we pull out the cutter and get it done while they wait. It is a fast-paced kind of job because people usually want to get back on the road quickly. We have been here long enough that the local drivers know our faces. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just cut stickers and put them on things. Sometimes the tape does not stick right if the surface is oily, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things first. It is a simple trade, but it keeps the shop running. The evenings are usually the busiest when people are heading home from work and decide to spruce up their vehicles a bit. We try to get through the queue as fast as we can.
