Addison Company Ltd.

Addison Company Ltd. is located at F65B Sipcot Industrial Park. It is one of those big industrial areas where you see a lot of people in uniforms walking to work early in the morning. Our place is pretty much like the others around here, filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial oil. The shifts start early, and there is always a bit of a rush at the gate when the buses arrive. We spend most of the day on the shop floor. It is a large space with high ceilings, but it still gets warm when all the equipment is running at once. There are a lot of different departments, but we all end up eating in the same area during the lunch break. You hear a lot of talk about the day’s production and whose machine is acting up. It is not the kind of place you see in brochures; it is a real working factory with scuffed floors and boxes stacked up in the corners. The shop has been standing here at F65B since the industrial park was much smaller, so we know the neighbors well. The security guards at the Sipcot entrance usually recognize us by now. It’s a steady pace of work, and we try to keep things organized even when it gets hectic with a big order. It is just a regular part of the industrial park life for us here.
