Indian Silk Sarees

You can find Indian Silk Sarees at New No. 3 on Palani Street. It used to be Old No. 1B/2 in Seshathri Palayam, so sometimes the mail still has the old number on it. We are very close to Pachaiyappa's Branch School. In the mornings and again in the afternoon, the street gets really crowded with children and parents walking past. It adds a bit of life to the place. Inside, we have rows of shelves piled high with different silks. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding things for people who come in. Seshathri Palayam is an old part of the area, and the buildings are quite close together. The walls here are a bit worn, but it stays cool inside even when the sun is hitting the street hard. We usually keep a small fan going near the front desk. Being near a school means there are always people around, which is nice. Sometimes the noise from the playground carries over while we are doing the accounts. We have been on Palani Street for a long time. It’s a familiar routine every day, checking the new arrivals and making sure the fabric is stored correctly so it doesn't get dusty. Most of the people who work here have been with us for years. It’s a plain shop, nothing too fancy, just plenty of sarees and a place to sit.
