Creative Automation & Systems Engg.

Our shop is at No.4 on Anbu Street in Gandhi Nagar, Ekkattuthangal. It’s a bit of a tight street, so parking can be a real headache if you don’t get here early. Creative Automation & Systems Engg is basically just a group of us who like to figure out how things work. We have a lot of mechanical parts and electronic bits spread out across the tables. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. The smell of solder and grease is pretty much always in the air. We’ve got a big workbench in the back where most of the actual assembly happens. Ekkattuthangal is a busy area with a lot of workshops, so there is always the sound of machines or metal clanging nearby. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they live or work in the neighborhood. Our chairs are a bit squeaky, and the fan in the corner wobbles if you turn it up too high. We usually spend the morning going over drawings and the afternoon actually building things. It’s hard work, and we often go home with dirty hands, but it’s what we do. We take our tea breaks outside on the step just to get some air and watch the motorbikes go by. It can be noisy, but you get used to the rhythm of the street after a while.
