Buena Vista

You can find us over on Beach Road in Neelangarai. It’s a nice change of pace from the middle of Chennai because you get the sea breeze and it’s a lot quieter than the main city streets. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The name is Buena Vista, and we try to keep things open and relaxed. It isn't a very complicated business. We just have our space here near the water where people can come to get away from the traffic and the heat for a bit. Neelangarai has a different feel to it, more of a residential and coastal vibe, and we like being part of that. We spend our days making sure the place is looking alright and talking to the people who wander in. There’s no big management team or anything like that, just us looking after the property. Sometimes the salt air means we have to do more maintenance on the building, but that is just part of being near the ocean. People usually find us when they are out for a drive along the coast or looking for a spot that isn't as crowded as the city beaches. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just keep the gates open and let the location speak for itself. It’s a humble place, really, just a spot on Beach Road to enjoy the view and the air without any of the city noise.
