Bas Events & Trade Fairs is based over in Madipakkam. We’re at No 44 on the Medavakkam High Road. If you know the Reliance Fresh around here, we are very close to that. It’s a handy landmark for people trying to find us. The road is always packed with people buying groceries or heading to work. Our office is just a simple room with a lot of files and some old posters on the wall. We’ve been doing this for several years now. It started as a small idea and just grew into a full-time thing. We don’t have a big reception desk or a fancy lobby. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there to talk. We handle a lot of logistics, which means plenty of phone calls and checklists. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck being late or a permit getting delayed, but we just deal with it. It’s practical work. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make sure things show up where they are supposed to. Madipakkam is a good area, lots of regular people just trying to get things done. We have an old fan that makes a clicking noise, but we’re used to it by now. The window looks out over the main road, so it’s never really quiet. We don't mind the noise, though. It makes us feel like we're part of the city.
